Program Mode

This chapter describes how to use the displays you will see in Program mode. It covers
creating, modifying, deleting and loading individual tools, including setting up
programmable cams, die protection sensors and other optional features of SmartPAC 2.  You
can program up to 200 tools and store them in the SmartPAC 2’s memory.
In Program mode, you can make settings for all your tools, but you cannot run the press. In
Run mode, you can run the press and make certain minor adjustments only for the installed
tool.
Refer to Chapter 3 for instructions on using the keyboard and display on SmartPAC 2. See
Figure 3 - 21, page 193, in that chapter for an example of how to navigate through the
Program menus.
