Additional Security

You can secure your WPC adjustments by installing a user-supplied keylock switch.  For
installation instructions, see page 66, “Wire a Keylock Switch to Prevent changes to WPC
Settings.”   The switch works as follows:

•

Switch CLOSED (grounded): prevents changes to any WPC settings in Program and
Run modes

•

Switch OPEN (not grounded):  Normal operation of  Program and Run modes.

By using this keylock switch, you can prevent anyone from making changes to WPC settings
in Program mode and Run mode.  This keylock switch overrides the Security Access settings
discussed in the previous sections.
Here are the messages that you will see in SmartPAC's Program and Run modes when the
keylock switch is closed at input 1.
