4.3 Grounding
If the transmitter is not grounded solidly through the meterbody mounting, ground the transmitter
by connecting a wire from the Earth Ground Clamp on the side of the transmitter to Earth
Ground as short as possible. Use a size 8AWG or (8.37 mm
2
) bare or green covered wire for this
connection. The tightening torque for the grounding screw (shown in
Figure 4-3
is 0.8 Nm to 1.0
Nm (7.1 to 8.9 lb-in).
