1 Product Overview
This Installation sheet describes how to mount and connect:
A Network Interface Module (NIM) to a Fire Panel
The Network Interface Module stores data received from the Networks Cards. The stored data is accessed by the
AFP-2800 and presented to the operator.
NOTE:
The Network Card is supplied separately.
WARNING:
Remove all power sources to equipment while connecting the components.
Leave the external, main power breaker OFF until installation of the components are
complete.
2 Installation
1.
Unplug from the PSI board:
a.
The 27 Volt PSU Power Supply Cable running from the PSI board - see Connection Schematic.
b.
The 4 - Way Power Cable running from the Termination board - see Connection Schematic.
c.
The Battery Power Supply - see Connection Schematic.
d.
The 10 - Way Ribbon Cable running to the Termination board - see Connection Schematic.
