Time-of-day Configuration
5.1
Introduction
A Time-of-day (TOD) program allows the
following functions to operate in a time-
dependent manner:
c. Cancelling all disablements on the panel
The panel can be configured with up to seven
TOD programs which operate independently of
each other. Only one program can be applied
to any one sensitivity or action.
A typical TOD program consists of one or two
daily periods specified by start and end times,
with an optional alternative for weekends.
Ensure that there is no inconsistency between
weekend and weekday times. If the TOD
program is used to cancel all disablements,
start times are irrelevant and so are omitted.
To specify a ‘complete’ 24-hour period, split the
24 hours into two parts, e.g. one from 00:00 to
12:00 and the other from 12:00 to 00:00.
The times in different TOD programs may
overlap each other but this is not
recommended.
EN54-2: 9.1.2
Disablement and
re-enablement MUST be
a manual operation.
Start time earlier than end time = DAY period.
Start time later than end time = NIGHT period.
Start time and end time both 00:00 = period
not in use.
Start time same as end time but NOT 00:00 =
special program for use with manual override
