Note
Entering the
ID
and
Password
and highlighting
OK
reads the
current IP Address of the DVR configured by the ADSL network.
Note
If the DVR is configured for DHCP or an ADSL network, the DVR
IP address might change whenever the unit is turned on.
Registering the Network for DVRNS Service
You can register the DVR using the DVRNS (DVR Name Service) server.
In the Network Setup screen, select the
DVRNS
tab. The DVRNS Setup screen appears.

1. Highlight the box beside
Use DVR Name Service
and press
to toggle
between
On
and
Off
. When
On
, the entire setup screen becomes active.
Note
The DVRNS (DVR Name Service) allows the DVR to use Dynamic
IP addresses for remote connection. When this feature is
On
,
you can use the DVR name instead of its IP address to remotely
access your DVR. For the DVRNS feature, the DVR should be
registered on the DVRNS server.
2. Highlight the field beside
DVRNS Server
and press
. Use the virtual keyboard
to enter the IP address or domain name of the DVRNS server.
