Note
If you reset the HRDVS to the factory default settings on the Service screen

) the system performs an autodetect on all
video inputs. Any live connected cameras will be detected and automatically
enabled in the switcher monitor. Video inputs with no connected cameras will
be disabled.
Covert Cameras
Live cameras may be individually disabled to support a covert camera operation. That is,
any cameras you do not want to appear on the monitor may be deselected on the Switcher
Setup screen. The deselected cameras will function normally and record but will not display
in live sequence mode or if you attempt to individually select them with a camera button on
the front panel. When you play back a video clip, all cameras will be displayed.
Camera Roll
If you use DC voltage powered cameras, the switching monitor display will exhibit camera
roll. To minimize this effect, we suggest you increase the dwell time in the Switcher Setup
screen to five seconds or more.
Some AC powered cameras can be adjusted to synchronize to the AC line phase. If you
have installed AC cameras you may be able to adjust your camera to be in phase, thus
eliminating camera roll.
