2. Use the following table to set the user preferences.
Field Description
Unit ID Specify the unit name (up to 14 alphanumeric characters). This is particularly useful
when you have more than one HRDVS and you want to distinguish one unit from
another.
Clip order Specify how stored video clips are listed. Options are:
Reverse chronological , chronological (default)
Language Choose to have the text on all screens appear in the language of your choice.
options are:
English (default)
English (Euro extension)
French
Italian
Spanish
Dutch
German
GUI Display Choose to have the screen interface appear in color or black and white.
Search Screen Select the type of search screen you want to display when you press the SEARCH
button on the front panel. Options are:
Normal . The Normal search screen has all event check boxes and the timelapse
check box available, as well as a timelapse button.
Simple Play . The Simple Play screen only has event check boxes for the events that
have been enabled in Program mode along with the timelapse check box. When you
use the Simple Play screen you are not given a choice whether or not to display
dismissed events. Dismissed events will always be displayed in the list.
GUI Timeout Set the screen interface inactivity time out, in minutes. Options are:
0 to 240 .
When set to 0, the system never times out.
The default is 5 minutes. After this amount of inactivity time you are automatically
logged out of all Menu screens and you are returned to the live view mode.
Autorecord Enable or disable autorecord:
If recording is disabled by a user and they log off without enabling recording, after
60 seconds the unit will return to record mode.
