Scale Type
. A window similar to the following appears:.
3. Select the type of scale you are assigning to this monitor. The window disappears and the previous
screen appears with the scale type you selected listed under the
Scale Type
option.
Note:
For the A&D scale, units are displayed according to the switch setting on the bottom of the
scale. Verify that the switch is set to the units (lbs or kg) required before deploying to a
patient.
4. Press the
return
key (
) to return to the
General Settings
screen.
Setting
the
Vitals
Collection
Notification
Volume
The Genesis Touch allows you to set the volume for the spoken vital collection notification.
This section assumes that you are at the
General Settings
screen. Refer to Getting to the
General Settings
Screen
for more information.
To set the volume for vitals collection notification:
1. From the
General Setting
screen, select
Device
