Attaching the Camera to the In-Ceiling Mount

1. Align the three captive M3 screws on the in-ceiling mount with the mating screw holes on

the camera base. Make sure the cable entry hole on the in-ceiling mount is lined up with
the cable entry hole on the camera base.

2. Tighten the screws on the in-ceiling mount to secure it to the camera base.

Preparing the Ceiling

1. Select the location where you want to install the camera. The installation area must be able

to safely support the weight of the camera.

2. Place the adhesive-backed template on the ceiling at the selected location and then cut

around it (176 mm diameter).

Installing the Camera in the Ceiling

1. Run the camera wiring (power, network, video,

audio, alarm) through the camera base.

2. Insert the in-ceiling mount and attached camera

base into the ceiling hole, and then tighten the
screws on the in-ceiling mount until the camera
base is flush against the ceiling tile.

CAUTION

Do not overtighten the

screws. Overtightening can damage the
in-ceiling mount. If using a power tool, set the
slip clutch to the lowest setting.

3. Retrieve the camera assembly from the product box, line up the tabs on the camera

assembly with the guides on the camera base, and then slide the camera assembly onto
the camera base until the tabs lock securely in place.

4. If you want, insert a microSDHC memory card (up to 32 GB, Class 10) into the

microSDHC card slot on the camera assembly.
