4. To start a cold engine, move the choke lever to the CLOSED 

position.
To restart a warm engine, leave the choke lever in the OPEN 
position.

5. Press the priming pump several times until the priming pump is 

filled with fuel.
Even if the priming pump is pressed too many times, the extra fuel 
will return to the fuel tank.
If the priming pump is not pressed enough, the engine may not start.
