FINAL REDUCTION

If the bearing is left on the driveshaft, remove it
using a hydraulic press.
Check the countershaft, counter gear, final gear
shaft and driveshaft for wear or damage.
BEARING REPLACEMENT
Be careful not to damage the mating surfaces of the
crankcase and final reduction case.
Disassemble the final reduction (page 12-6).
