Remove the bolts and wire clamps.

Remove the bolts and front wheel speed sensor.

Check that there is iron or other magnetic deposits
between the pulser ring and wheel speed sensor.
Remove any deposits.

Check the sensor tip for deformation or damage
(e.g., chipped pulser ring teeth).
Replace the speed sensor if necessary.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

After installing the front wheel speed sensor, check
the clearance (air gap) between the sensor and
pulser ring (page 18-24). 

FRONT PULSER RING

INSPECTION

Support the scooter on its center stand and raise the
rear wheel off the ground.

Check the pulser ring for scratch or damage.
Replace the pulser ring if necessary.

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Remove the front wheel (page 15-13).

Remove the torx bolts and pulser ring.

Install the pulser ring and new torx bolts and tighten
them to the specified torque.

Install the front wheel (page 15-17).
After installing the front wheel, check the clearance
(air gap) between the sensor and pulser ring (page
18-24).
