PGM-FI SYSTEM
SYSTEM INSPECTION WITH HDS
POCKET TESTER
Connect the HDS pocket tester (page 4-12).
Remove the bank angle sensor (page 4-65).
Connect the bank angle sensor 2P (Black) connector.
Place the bank angle sensor is horizontal as shown.
Turn the ignition switch ON and engine stop switch " ".
Read the voltage with the HDS pocket tester.
Incline the bank angle sensor approximately 60° to the
left or right with keeping the ignition switch ON.
Read the voltage with HDS pocket tester.
SYSTEM INSPECTION WITH ECM
TEST HARNESS
Connect the ECM test harness to the ECM/PCM 33P
connector(s).

– NC700XD/SD (page 4-14)
Remove the bank angle sensor (page 4-65).
Connect the bank angle sensor 2P (Black) connector.
Place the bank angle sensor horizontal as shown.
Turn the ignition switch ON and engine stop switch " ".
Measure the output voltage at the ECM test harness [1]
terminals.
Incline the bank angle sensor approximately 60° to the
left or right with keeping the ignition switch ON and
engine stop switch " ".
Measure the output voltage at the ECM test harness
terminals.
STANDARD: 7.0 – 8.8 V
STANDARD: 0.40 – 0.84 V
