Starting the Engine

! d With the throttle completely closed, press
the start button.
u If you cannot start the engine, with the
throttle slightly open (about 3 mm,
without freeplay), press the start button.
! e Warm up the engine by opening and closing
the throttle slightly.
If the engine does not start:
! a Open the throttle fully and press the start
button for 5 seconds.
! b Repeat the normal starting procedure.
! c
If the engine starts, open the throttle slightly
if idling is unstable.
! d If the engine does not start, wait 10 seconds
before trying steps
! a & ! b again.
