Maintenance procedures
Preparing
Perform the following procedures in an
area not subject to rainfall.
• Put on a pair of work gloves.
• When checking the blades, turn the lawn
mower on its side.
• Do not tilt the lawn mower over an angle
of 90 degrees to prevent grass clippings
or

WARNING
- Do not touch the blades with your hands.
- Do not lift the lawn mower off of the ground while checking or cleaning it.
- Make sure to press the manual STOP button and turn the lawn mower off before performing the
following procedures.
NOTE:
- Do not wash the lawn mower with water. The lawn mower may be damaged.
Cleaning the body (Exterior)
Clean dirt and grass off of the lawn mower using a dry brush and
cloth.

Removing the grass clippings
By using a dry brush or scraper, remove grass clippings attached to the blades, driving part and water drain
holes.
NOTE:
- Never pour water on the bottom of the lawn mower, and avoid using a sponge or rag soaked with water for
cleaning the lawn mower. The lawn mower may be damaged if water or dirt, such as grass clippings, enter
inside of the lawn mower through the drain holes or gaps.
