fitted to the seat where the child is
positioned
When you secure a child restraint
system with a lap/shoulder belt, be
sure you install a locking clip on the
seat belt (see page
).
Push and pull the child restraint
system forward and from side-to-
side to verify that it is secure
enough to stay upright during
normal driving manoeuvres. Secure the belt in the slit by
pushing up the tab. Make sure the
belt is not twisted and it is
positioned properly in the slit.
When pushing up the tab, make
sure to pull up the upper shoulder
part of the lap/shoulder belt to
remove any slack from the belt.
