Battery
Servicing Your Honda
The battery is located in a compartment under the seat.
Removal
Make sure the ignition switch is OFF ( ).
Remove the seat (page ).
Remove the rear fender cover (page ).
Release the rings and remove the rubber band ( ).
Disconnect the negative (
) terminal lead ( ) from the battery ( )
first, then disconnect the positive ( ) terminal lead ( ).
Remove the battery.
