b. INSPECTION

• PRIMARY RESISTANCE

1. Attach one lead of the tester to the engine stop switch wire

and the other tester lead to the iron core.

2. Measure the primary resistance of the ignition coil.

• SECONDARY RESISTANCE

1. Attach one lead of the tester to the terminal inside the

spark plug cap and the other tester lead to the iron core.

2. Measure the secondary resistance of the ignition coil.
