OPERATION
47
When operating generators in parallel operation, if one generator emits exhaust
toward the other, the CO-MINDER® (CO Shut-off System) of the generator that is
receiving the exhaust may stop the engine. Pay attention to the following for
placing generators in parallel operation.
• Align the two generators so that their mufflers are on the same line and exhaust in
the same direction.
• Place the generator so that the muffler is pointed in the same direction as the
wind is blowing and the exhaust is directed away from buildings, other structures,
or vehicles.
