Make sure the fuel remains enough (0.3 US gal

) minimum) in the fuel tank and add fuel if
necessary before increasing fuel pressure.
With the throttle closed, operate the kickstarter
starting from the top of the kickstarter stroke, kick
through to the bottom with a rapid, continuous
motion.
The engine will start up by increasing the fuel
pressure.
If the engine does not start, check all connector
connections and/or refer to an official Honda
Service Manual (page 160) for troubleshooting of
the PGM-FI symptom.
