Smart Wiper System

This model comes with a smart wiper system. Here are some of its benefits:

Lower park position so the wipers are less noticeable

Reduced wind and cabin noise

Automatic intermittent wiping (EX-L, Touring)

Wiping zone adjustment if there is an obstruction

When replacing wiper blades, you should first put the wipers into their service position. If this is not done, there is a
chance of nicking the back edge of the hood or the cowl cover when lifting the passenger side wiper arm.

To place the wipers in their service position, follow the applicable steps below.

Without Push Button Start

1.  Turn the ignition switch to ON.

2.  Push the wiper/washer lever up to MIST and hold it there.

3.  Turn the ignition switch to ACCESSORY.

With Push Button Start

1.  Press the ENGINE START/STOP button twice to set the power mode to ON.

2.  Push the wiper/washer lever up to MIST and hold it there.

3.  Press the ENGINE START/STOP button once to set the power mode to ACCESSORY.

To exit the service position, just cycle the wiper/washer lever.
