Follow the steps in the diagram:
1. Exit vehicle, close all doors and
trunk, then stay close and listen
for a beep indicating the system
is activated.
2. Walk at least 5 feet away.
3. Listen for a beep and look for the
lights to flash which confirms the
doors are locked.
WALK AWAY AUTO LOCK
®
(Sport, EX, EX-L,Touring, Si)
Automatically locks vehicle when you walk away while carrying the remote
transmitter. Especially useful when your hands are full or if you accidentally
forget to lock your vehicle.
The fuel-fill door auto locks
as well, so ensure the vehicle is unlocked
before you begin refueling.

ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE
Use the parking brake to keep the vehicle stationary when parked. When

To Apply:
Pull the electric parking brake switch up.
• The indicator in the switch comes on.
• The parking brake and brake system indicator
(red) on the instrument panel comes on.
To Release:
1. The ignition switch must be ON* in order to
release the electric parking brake.
2. Depress the brake pedal.
3. Press the electric parking brake switch.
• The indicator in the switch goes off.
• The parking brake and brake system indicator
(red) on the instrument panel goes off.
Models with Color Audio (LX):
1. Press the button, then

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS) CALIBRATION
The TPMS determines if one or more tires are significantly under-inflated.
This will cause the low tire pressure/TPMS indicator to come on and a
message to appear on the driver information interface.
You must start TPMS calibration every time you adjust the pressure in one or
more tires, rotate the tires, or replace one or more tires. Before calibrating
the TPMS, set the cold tire pressure in all four tires.
• Make sure vehicle is at a complete stop.
• Make sure shift lever is in N for manual transmission models and P for
continuously variable transmission models.
• Make sure ignition switch is ON. (Models with Smart Entry have an
ENGINE
START/STOP
button instead of an ignition switch.)
