Breaking In
The proper care of your motorcycle during the first
kilometers of usage will considerably increase its
service life and improve its performance.
– During the first 1,000 km, do not subject the engine
to excessive load. Do not exceed the maximum
speed recommended for each gear.
– Avoid sudden acceleration and use the proper gear
to prevent unnecessary strain on the engine.
– Do not ride the motorcycle for long periods with
constant speed.
– Keep the engine from running at excessive low or
high speeds.
– During the first 1,000 km, apply the brakes
smoothly. This will not only increase service life, but
also ensure their future effectiveness. Avoid sudden
braking.
These recommendations are not only for the breaking
in period, but at all times.
Running the engine beyond the recommended
maximum speed may cause serious damage.
ATTENTION
(CG150 Sport)
If the engine fails to start after repeated attempts, it
may be flooded with excess fuel. To clear the engine,
turn the ignition switch on and move the choke lever to
Fully OFF (B). Open the throttle fully and crank the
engine for 5 seconds. If the engine starts, close the
throttle quickly and then open it slightly if idling is
unstable. If the engine does not start, wait 10 seconds
and repeat the starting procedures.
