Follow the child restraint system
maker’s instructions for any
additional advice on adjusting or
tightening the fit.

Attach the attaching clip to the
tether anchor fitting as shown in
the illustration, then tighten the
strap according to the child
restraint system marker’s
instructions. Make sure the strap
is not twisted.

Flexible type child restraint
system is available in some
countries. In EU countries, this
type is not available.

Remove the rear head restraint on
the seating position you want to use
(see page

). The removed head

restraint should be secured so it will
not be thrown while you are driving.
Make sure to replace the rear head
restraint when the child restraint
system is not in use.
