
The above illustration shows how
the tyres should be rotated on the
vehicles equipped with a compact
spare tyre, when the normal spare
tyre is not included in the tyre
rotation, or the vehicles without
spare tyre.
To help increase tyre life and
distribute wear more evenly, you
should have the tyres rotated every
10,000 km (6,250 miles). Move the
tyres to the positions shown in the
charts each time they are rotated.
When shopping for replacement
tyres, you may find that some tyres
are ‘‘directional.’’ This means they
are designed to rotate only in one
direction. If you use directional tyres,
they should be rotated only front-to-
back.
Refer to the illustrations in the next
column when the normal spare tyre
is also rotated.
