A. Less than 8 km (5 miles), or less than 16 km (10 
miles) in freezing temperatures per trip.

C. With extensive idling or long periods of stop-and-
go.
D. Towing trailer, loaded roof rack, or in mountains.
E. On muddy, dusty or de-iced roads.
