Locking the doors and hatch
Press the lock button.
u Some exterior lights flash three times, all the
doors, hatch, and fuel fill door lock, and the
security system sets.
u The super locking function is activated.
■
Unlocking the doors and hatch
Press the unlock button.
Once:
u Some exterior lights flash once, and the driver's
door and fuel fill door unlocks.
Twice:
u The remaining doors and hatch unlock.
You cannot lock any doors from the outside when the keyless remote is inside the vehicle, and the
beeper sounds. If you want to lock a door while the remote is still in the vehicle, do any of the
following four times:
• Press the lock button on the keyless remote.
• Turn the key in the cylinder to lock.
• Touch the door lock sensor on the door handle or press the lock button on the hatch.
If the unlock button of the keyless remote does not work, use the key instead. The keyhole
is on the back of the door handle.
Insert the key into the key cylinder from below the
handle and then turn it.
The super locking function is cancelled and then the
driver's door is unlocked.
If you do not have the key on you, or if for some reason you cannot lock a door using the
key, you can lock the door without it.
