INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: Before assembly, ensure that all parts 
and quantities match parts list below. Inspect all 
components for shipping damage. If any parts are 
determined to be missing or damaged, contact 
your dealer/retailer for replacements.   WARNING! 
DO NOT use this equipment without first reading 
and understanding the user manual. If you are 
unable to understand these instructions, contact a 
healthcare professional, dealer, or technical person 
before installing. Otherwise, injury or damage may

A. Seat – 1 each

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

 

1. Place seat upside down on a flat surface. Insert  
   each leg into the corner recess of the seat and  
   rotate counter-clockwise until tight. Repeat step  
   #1 for all 4 legs. 
2. Place chair upright and insert arms into holes  
    in side of seat until arm is fully engaged. 
3. Insert back into the slot, which is in the rear  
    of the seat, and insert back until fully engaged.
4. To adjust legs for proper height or uneven  
    surfaces, grab the shower chair leg with one  
    hand while rotating the bottom of the leg  
    (where the suction cup attaches to the leg)  
    clockwise. The leg has an adjustment window  
    that indicates the level with a red marker. 
    Turn to desired height and repeat for all legs.

CAUTIONS

• Ensure all 4 legs are at the correct height. The leg

• Only use the Shower Chair for its intended use. They  
   are not replacements for ladders and are not  
   exercise equipment or toys.
• The Shower Chair is not intended for use during  
   examinations or treatments.
• Use only spare parts and accessories released by  
   Performance Health.
• Do not carry out structural changes which are not  
   approved by the manufacturer.
• The Shower Chair must not be used in environments  
   in which flammable gases or vapours (e.g. from  
   anaesthetics) can be expected.

CLEANING

• Small stains and dust are best removed with 
   moist wipes.
• Larger stains can be removed by non-scouring, 
   mild cleaning agents.
• Do not use tools with sharp edges (knives, metal  
   scrapers) or aggressive solvents for cleaning.

MAINTENANCE

 

The Shower Chair is maintenance-free, however, 
should be checked monthly for damage or looseness. 

Carry out the following test:

• Visual check of all parts for deformation, damage,  
   wear and tear and corrosion.
The chair must not be used further if faults/defects 
are detected during use.
