10 SAFETY
10.1 Intended Use
The device must only be used for its intended purpose! Any other use is deemed to be a case of
misuse. To use the device properly you must also observe and follow all safety regulations lay
down in this manual.
All people who use and service the device have to be acquainted with this manual and must be
informed about the device's potential hazards.
It is also imperative to observe the accident prevention regulations in force in your area.
The same applies for the general rules of occupational health and safety.
The device may only be used as:
Workbench, scaffold, platform, sawhorse, creeper, dolly, hand truck
Any manipulation of the machine or its parts is a misuse, in this case
HOLZMANN-
MASCHINEN and its sales partners cannot be made liable for ANY direct or indirect
damage.
10.2 Security instructions
Missing or non-readable security stickers have to be replaced immediately!
The locally applicable laws and regulations may specify the minimum age of the
operator and limit the use of this machine!!
To avoid malfunction, machine defects and injuries, read the following security instructions:
 Make sure all moving parts are free from interference
 Keep your work area dry and tidy! An untidy work area may cause accidents. Avoid slippery
floor!
 Avoid abnormal working postures! Make sure you stand squarely and keep balance at all
times!
 Keep hands clear of all moving parts. Bruises!
 Ensure machine is used in a dry place, protected from rain. The product is for INDOOR use
only. Do not store or use it outdoors or in a moist environment.
 Check to make sure that all fixing screws and knobs are tight and all legs are locked into
position before operating.
 When transporting the workbench I a vehicle, always tie down to prevent movement and
possible damage.
 Don’t use scaffold mode with legs fully extended. Always use this product on a stable, level
surface. Failure to properly or to overload may result in serious personal injury!
 Do not overload the machine!
 When using this product with power tools, please refer to the manufacturer’s instructions for
guidance o usage.
10.3 Residual risks
Despite proper use, certain residual risk factors cannot be completely eliminated. Due to the design and
construction of the machine, hazardous situations may occur which are indicated in these operating
instructions as follows:
