14 OPERATION
Device to be operated in a perfect state only. Inspect the device visually every time it is to be
used. Check in particular the safety equipment, electrical controls, electric cables and screwed
connection for damage and if tightened properly. Replace any damaged parts before operating
the device.
14.1 Operation instructions
W A R N I N G
Perform all machine settings with the machine being
disconnected from the power supply!
A T T E N T I O N
Never switch the machine on while pressing the workpiece against the
blade shaft!
N O T I C E
 Check the blades of wear and change if it necessary
 Operate the machine only with a connected dust collector!

Check the v-belt and tighten if necessary
 Replace the v-belt if it is wear of
 V-belts and pulleys must not come into contact with grease, oil or
other lubricants

Loosen the v-belt if longer breaks are scheduled
14.2 Safety devices
Blade cover
Protects when planing workpieces touching the
rotating blade shaft.
Safety shutdown
When opening the planer table a limit switch is
activated which interrupts the power supply to
the power unit.
An unintentional start at opened planer table is
thus prevented.
Emergency switch
In case of danger or accident:

Push emergency switch
Power unit and feeder stop immediately
After eliminating the error and if there is no
risk:

Deactivate the emergency switch by turning
clockwise
The machine can be restarted
