16.2.1
Maintenance and Servicing Plan
The type and degree of machine wear depends to a large extent on the operating conditions. The
following intervals apply when using the machine within the specified limits:

16.2.2
Replacing the grinding disc
Remove the red protection cover with a screwdriver.
Fix the grinding stone and loosen the fixing nut on the arbour. Remove the fixing nut and the
flange.
Remove the old grinding stone and install the new one, place the flange onto the stone and fix
it with the nut. Install the red protection cover back.
Let the machine now run in test mode for one minute and check the stone for any vibration,
out-of-balance run.
16.2.3
Replacing the Sanding belt
Remove the outer sanding belt cover (3). To do this,
first loosen and remove the three screws (2x short
(1), 1 long (2) (fixed on the back with star grip) and
then remove the cover (3).
Release the belt tension by pulling the lever (4)
downwards and pull the sanding belt off the rollers.
Insert a new sanding belt.
N O T I C E
When inserting the sanding belt, make sure
that it runs in the correct direction (match
arrow on the sanding belt (6) to arrow on the
machine (5))
Restore sanding belt tension by folding up the lever
(4).
Mount the grinding belt cover (3)
Check sanding belt tracking and readjust if necessary.
16.3
Storage
N O T I C E
Improper storage can damage and destroy important components. Only store packed
or unpacked parts under the intended environmental conditions
!
When not in use, store the machine in a dry, frost-proof and lockable place to prevent the
formation of rust on the one hand and to ensure that unauthorised persons and in particular
children have no access to the machine on the other hand.
16.4
Disposal
Observe the national waste disposal regulations. Never dispose of the machine,
machine components or equipment in residual waste. If necessary, contact your
local authorities for information on the disposal options available.
If you buy a new machine or an equivalent device from your specialist dealer,
he is obliged in certain countries to dispose of your old machine properly.
