Description of Various Functional Areas:
Display
The Compass Stainer uses a 20 character wide x 8 line alpha-numeric passive LCD display
for an operator interface. The user can adjust the contrast of the displayed information in the service
mode to obtain the clearest text, based on User’s viewing angle.
Fume Shield
The cover helps minimize the reagent fumes escaping to the ambient air. It also allows
the user to observe the progress of the processing.
The Transport Arm Mechanism
The transport arm mechanism provides two types of travel to the
slide rack – up/down (z-axis) and rotary. Up/down motion allows immersing, agitating and
