6.4 DICOM Troubleshooting
If you are having trouble sending or receiving DICOM messages:
1.
Double-check all AE titles, IP addresses, and ports with the site’s Radiology IT/PACS
staff.
2.
Check the R2.Dis.log for relevant messages. By default, this log file is located in the
following share drive:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Hologic\Cenova Server\Log (Windows 7)
•
For ImageChecker CAD (2D) and Biomarkers, if you see input errors regarding
DICOM attributes, verify that the images are
not
magnified or spot views and are
not
For Presentation. Verify that they are digital mammogram images.
•
If you see input error messages about DICOM attributes (0018,700A) or
(0018,1000), check the device license.
•
If you have trouble running phantom images, try a real case. Some phantoms do
not get processed by the server, and may not generate output.
•
If you do not see an input message, try the Ping tests described below. Check the
logs on the device that is sending images to the server.
3.
Go to the non-Hologic device, and Ping the Cenova server. Then go to the server and
ping the other device. If you cannot Ping, check IP addresses, cables, and gateways.
4.
C-Echo the destination device and ensure that the destination device can handle the
configured results format.
