wrench (14 mm width across flats) to adjust the
spindle retaining screw such that the carriages
are at correct height. Turn on the main switch.
•
Then adjust the displacement transducers using
a multimeter as follows: P3 (secondary column)
to 1.76 V, transducer P4 (secondary column) to
7.64 V, transducer P2 to 7.64 V and transducer
P1 such that both LEDs on the controller board
light up.
•
In order to adjust these values, press the displa-
cement transducer against spring force from the
worm until the cogwheel is free to rotate and the
proper setting is reached.
Measurement is on the displacement transducer bet-
ween green and white (with P1 and P3) or on the
controller board between terminals 1 and 3, and 4
and 6 respectively ( see connecting diagram - Fig. 6).
For P2 and P4 it is between pink and yellow, or bet-
ween terminals 8 and 9 as well as between terminals
8 and 10.
With the main switch turned on the following voltages
should be available between the terminals:
Transducer
Terminals
Volt
P1 green< >white
1< >3
1.76
P2 pink< > yellow
8< >9
7.64
P3 green< > withe
4< >6
1.76
P4 pink< > yellow
8< >10
7.64
P1-3 white< > white 3< >4 0
P2-4 yellow< >yellow 9< >10 0
The Ohm values can be measured on disconnected
control wires only as residual voltages of capacitors
and connections on the controller board might falsify
the Ohm values. Voltages should be measured prior
to resistance.
Once calibration is completed, both or only one green
LED will light up on the controller board.
•
Check lift travel in both directions, verifying syn-
chronism of the lifting carriages in the lower limit
position; if necessary, readjust.
Should there be any differences, they can be
compensated for by toothwise readjustment of
P1. (See Fig. 5 Measurement and calibration of
displacement transducers).
Turning the cogwheel of P1 by one tooth to the
right (seen from the motor side) means lowering
the carriage of the secondary column by approx.
5 mm; this effect is reached when control action
has taken place at the beginning or during travel
of the lift.
Turning the cogwheel by one tooth to the left
means a change in the opposite direction.
•
Check the lift for proper operation under load.
7.4 After repair
If a displacement transducer has been exchanged,
altered during repair or removed, the lift has to be re-
adjusted.
•
Bring the lifting carriage of the repaired column to
the level of the lifting carriage of the other co-
lumn. Adjust voltages of the displacement trans-
ducers of the repaired column to the settings of
the column which was not repaired (by turning
the cogwheel).
For better understanding, refer to Fig. 5 Measu-
rement and calibration of displacement transdu-
cers.
•
Check synchronism of lifting carriages in their
bottom limit position. If necessary readjust as
specified under "Prior to initial operation".
7.5 Final checks
•
Check lift for proper stopping in upper and lower
limit positions. Lubricate the lift in accordance
with the instructions on column. Prior to initial o-
peration have the lift checked by an expert.
•
The results of this check have to be certified in
the test book.
