11 DISPOSAL
Proper disposal saves natural resources and prevents harmful substances being released into the
environment.
11.1 DEVICE AND COMPONENTS
The device or components must not be disposed of with the household waste. They must be dis-
posed of at a communal collection point or public waste-disposal authority.
11.2 PACKAGING
The packaging can be disposed with the normal household waste.
11.3 BATTERIES
Batteries must not be disposed of with the household waste. They must be disposed of at a local
retailer or at a communal collection point.
11.4 OXYGEN SENSOR
The oxygen sensor must not be disposed of with the household waste. It should be disposed of
correctly by incineration in a hazardous waste incineration plant. Local official regulations should be
observed.
