Basic principles

The toaster should be properly and regularly cleaned to ensure safe use and 

extend the life span of the appliance.

8 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Attention! 

Never clean the appliance with harsh, alkaline, abrasive or disinfecting 

chemical agents since they may adversely affect the appliance’s surface.

Do not use sharp, coarse or metal cleaning tools since they may damage 

the appliance’s surfaces! 

Do not immerse the toaster or cord in water or any liquid.

Before reuse, make sure that the toaster is completely dry. 

1. Unplug the toaster.
2. Before cleaning, wait for the toaster to cool down.
3. Wipe the housing with a soft, damp cloth. Never use a metal brush.
4. Remove the crumb tray from the toaster bottom and empty it. If the toaster is 

frequently used, bread crumbs should be removed at least once a week. Make 

sure that the crumb tray is completely closed before reusing the toaster.

5. Never use caustic or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance.  
6. Do not use vinegar, chlorine or any other chemical products to clean the 

toaster.

7. Never immerse the toaster in water or any liquid.

The appliance does not contain user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to make any 

repairs. Always call the Service.

If the toaster cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, technical 

service centre or qualified person.

9 REPAIR 

The appliance should be cleaned in accordance with the description.

Always keep the appliance in a dry, well-ventilated location inaccessible to 

children.

Protect the toaster from vibration and shock during transport.
