USING THE ELECTRIC OVEN
OPERATING THE ELECTRIC OVEN AND ITS KNOB SYMBOLS (FIG. 7)
WARNINGS
- Before switching on the oven, make sure there are no plastic bags, paper, cardboard etc. inside the oven.
- Turn on the power supply main switch.
- Turn the oven knob clockwise in order to switch it on, bringing it to reach the desired temperature number.
- During grill operations, the oven door must stay open.
USING THE OVEN
- Turn the knob clockwise and set the desired temperature: the yellow and green signal lamps will come on.
- Wait for the yellow lamp to go off and the oven will have reached the set temperature; now you may introduce the food and
close the door. Periodically check the food’s cooking process.
- At the end of cooking, switch off the oven by turning the knob anticlockwise and bringing it to “0”.
N.B.: A differential cooking is also possible, by concentrating heat either in the upper part or in the lower part.
Turn the knob to the right and set it on the (
) symbol. The upper resistance of 1500 W power is turned on; by setting it on
290 ° C, the upper and lower resistances are turned on.
IGNITING THE COOK BURNERS
- To ignite the cooking plate pilot, press the knob (Fig. 8) and rotate it to the left to reach the symbol (
); having reached
it, press the knob deeply down, at the same time pressing the piezoelectric ignition button; the button is located on the
dashguard. The pilot burner is visible through the peephole on the guard;
- Keep the knob pressed for approx. 20 seconds; on releasing it, the pilot flame should stay on. If the pilot goes off, repeat
the operation.
- To ignite and adjust the burner, turn the knob to the desired position, remembering that the following temperatures
correspond to the positions from 8 to 1:
POS. 8 = 260°C
POS. 4 = 165°C
POS. 7 = 235°C
POS. 3 = 165°C
POS. 6 = 210°C
POS. 2 = 165°C
POS. 5 = 185°C
POS. 1 = 165°C
- To shut off the burner, bring the knob back to position (
); for a total extinguishment, bring the knob back to
position (
).
