Practice Safe Installation Procedure
•
Lower attachment to the ground and follow all shutdown procedures in the skid steer operator’s
manual before leaving the operator’s seat .
•
Understand procedure before doing work. Refer to the skid steer operator’s manual for additional
information.
•
Work on a level surface in a clean dry area that is well-lit.
•
Do not work under any hydraulic supported equipment. It can settle, suddenly leak down, or
be lowered accidentally. If it is necessary to work under the equipment, securely support it with
stands or suitable blocking beforehand.
•
Use properly grounded electrical outlets and tools.
•
Use correct tools and equipment for the job that are in good condition.
•
Inspect all parts. Make certain parts are in good condition & installed properly.
•
Always make sure any material and waste products from the installation of the attachment are
properly collected and disposed.
•
Remove all tools and unused parts from the equipment before operation.
Caution
: Hydraulic fluid is under pressure, be aware that hydraulic leaks could develop with
out warning. Do not check for leaks with your hand or fingers while the system is pressurized,
serious injury could result. Possible burns or poisoning from pressurized fluid injection.
Caution
: Only qualified personnel should perform installations and connections to the skid
steers hydraulic system.
Caution
: Do not attach equipment that is beyond the capacity of the adapter to avoid personal
injury and damage to the equipment.

: this kit is constructed of heavy gauge steel, be sure to use caution moving and install-
ing the kit, avoid dropping or pinching body parts on corners and edges of the kit.

Always wear the appropriate safety gear when installing this kit or working
around the machine. This includes but is not limited to:
• Eye protection, safety glasses or face shield.
• Heavy gloves for protection from cuts and pinching.
• Safety shoes with slip resistant soles and steel toes for protection.
Warning:
Read thru the skid steer owner manual and review safe operating and at-
tachment removal before beginning work, shut off the engine, and ensure the machine
is blocked securely and is secure from unexpected movement.
