Introduction
This document contains the information and the operating
instructions for
EWFAIB
units.
This information is for the after-sales service and the production
operators, for the end-of-line testing.

6.1 Control of
EWFAIB
units, single compressor,
variable speed
EWFAIB
units are provided with a microprocessor card which is fully
programmed by default for the control of a heat pump unit.
General information
The figure shows the terminal with the front door open.
It is provided with a 3 green digits with 7 segments with decimal
point LED, so as to allow the programming of the control parameters
(setpoint, differential bands, alarm thresholds) and the main
operations to be carried out by the user.
Keypad description
The terminal makes it possible to carry out the following operations:

The initial configuration of the machine.
Q
The change of all the main operating parameters.
Q
The display of the detected alarms.
Q
The display of all the measured quantities.

Control
The terminal and the card are connected by a 4-wire cable.
The connection of the terminal to the basic card is not essential for
the normal operation of the controller.
6.2 Keypad functions
In normal display mode, the following information is available:
Q
Inlet (return) water temperature, in tenths of a degree Celsius,
with one decimal point.
Q
The alarm code, if at least one alarm is active. In the case of
several active alarms, the first alarm is displayed based on Alarm
Chart hierarchy.
Q
OFF if the unit is in complete shut-down mode (heating and
cooling).
Q
dFr if the unit is defrosting.
Q
In MENU mode, the data displayed depends on the device's
status. Labels and codes are used to help the user identify a pre-
programmed function.
Access to inputs/outputs and

– Navigate downwards in the

– Exit and save the new values.
In the “menu” mode:
– Scroll the settings.
– Increase the value.
In the “menu” mode:
– Scroll the settings.

values.
