You can change the VCR mode as required using the "EASY GUIDE SYSTEM MENU". 

 

1. Turn on the power of both the VCR and TV. 
2. Be sure that the TV is set to the video channel (3 or 4). 
3. Point the remote control unit at the receiver on the front panel of the VCR. 
4. Press the GUIDE button until the "menu", as illustrated, will appear on the TV screen.
