 Cooling when the GR4000 is set on a desk or table

 

To ensure the air flow, reserve at least 70 mm of space from the ventilation slots of each 
side of the router. 

 

 

WARNING:  DO NOT BLOCK THE VENTILATION SLOTS. IF YOU BLOCK THE VENTILATION 

SLOTS, THE INSIDE OF THE DEVICE WILL OVERHEAT AND COULD CAUSE A 

FIRE. RESERVE AT LEAST 70 MM OF SPACE FROM THE VENTILATION SLOTS 

OF EACH DEVICE TO ENSURE PROPER AIR FLOW THROUGH THE 

VENTILATION SLOTS.

NOTE: If you locate other devices with fans near the GR4000, the air flow from those 

units may interfere with others. In an extreme case, this could cause the router 

to overheat and fail. Therefore, remember to keep adequate space between 

interfering units. You may also install a partition between devices to prevent the 

air flow of one device from blocking the other. If you install a partition, locate it 

more than 70mm away from the device.

The space between a router and other objects must be at least 70mm.
