1.5.1 PSU-1
The PSU-1 has two NIF slots.

NOTE: There are two types of network interface boards which need to be mounted
into the packet switching module; the standard NIF and the high port-density
NIF. The standard NIF requires one slot, and the high port-density NIF requires
two slots.

The action status of a packet switching module is indicated by the LED on the front panel of
the device. See the section “1.1 Chassis” for the front panel of the device.
