Hitachi AMS 2000 Family Command Control Interface (CCI) Reference Guide
Intended audience
This document is intended for system administrators, Hitachi Data Systems
representatives, and Authorized Service Providers who are involved in
installing, configuring, or operating the AMS.
This document assumes that you, as the user:
• Have a background in data processing and understand RAID storage
arrays and their basic functions.
• Are familiar with the AMS array.
• Are familiar with the functionality of the ShadowImage and SnapShot
features.
• Are familiar with the functionality of the TrueCopy and TCE features.
• Have read and understand the ShadowImage in-system Replication
User’s Guide.
• Have read and understand the Copy-on-write SnapShot User’s Guide.
• Have read and understand the Modular Volume Migration User’s Guide.
• Have read and understand the TrueCopy Remote Replication User’s
Guide.
• Have read and understand the TrueCopy Extended Distance User’s
Guide.
Product version
This document revision applies to CCI software version 01-32-03/01 or
later, and AMS 2000 Family firmware version 08C5/K or later.
