Security and Privacy

Fingerprint  

Fingerprint recognition not only allows you to unlock your device 

faster, it also enhance security to your personal information.

Enrolling a fingerprint

1 

Tap 

Settings > Security & location > Fingerprint

.

2 

Follow the onscreen instructions to set a screen lock pass-
word, PIN or pattern.

3 

Put your fingertip on the fingerprint sensor. Press down 
lightly on the sensor until your device vibrates. Repeat this 

step using different parts of your fingertip until your device 
has successfully saved your fingerprint.

4 

Once you have added your fingerprint, tap 

Done

. To unlock 

the screen, simply put your fingertip on the fingerprint sen

sor.

 Deleting fingerprint

Tap 

Settings > Security & location > Fingerprint

Input your password.

Select the desired fingerprint and choose
