Initial Installation
2.4.1
Screen settings
•
Power On TV
•
Open Settings
o
If using wired ethernet: Check that the correct info is in the Ethernet
menu and
the “Two computers” icon is white in the top right corner
o
If using WiFi: Open Wifi menu and turn on WiFi and then connect to your
WiFi. The WiFi icon in the top right corner should then be white.
•
Date & Time: Check that time is correct. If not, you can check that you have the
correct timezone or you deactivate Automatic Date & Time and set the time
manually.

Follow the
General Settings
described in
2.4.2

To install Signage APP:
On your computer go to this url:
and download the Android APK file
and place this in the root folder on a USB stick and insert into the back of the TV.
•
Press the
button saying “USB” under the Source button in the top left corner.
•
Select USB drive
•
Find the APK downloaded to install the Signage app.
o
Select install. When installation is finished, select OPEN to start the
Android Signage app.
•
NOTE:
You may get a message saying: FILE MANAGER: for your security, your
TV is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source.
o
Select settings
–
and select Allow from this source.
o
Press the back button on the remote to continue installation
The signage app should now open and display the install code
•
Access the signage management portal.
•
Select add screen.
•
Enter the Install Code presented on the screen.
After installation is completed, unplug the USB stick.
