Reset the Password in the Annex on Page 122 .
How to Upgrade the Firmware
Caution!
During the BAT 11b upgrade, you must neither turn off the BAT
11b nor interrupt the data connection. Otherwise, the BAT 11b
software will be damaged. You will then have to return the BAT
11b to the manufacturer.
1. Before upgrading, make sure that the new firmware
version (files ending with *.afw) is available on your
hard disk or on another data carrier.
2. Under Extras > Password, enter the password of the
admin user level if this has not been done yet. Other-
wise, an update will not be possible.
3. In the main window of the BAT Discovery, select the BAT
11b which you want to upgrade and select Configura-
tion > Load firmware... Alternatively, you can right-click
the Load firmware option or activate the Firmware func-
tion from the tool bar.
