Disposing of the Instrument

6.5  Disposing of the Instrument

When disposing the instrument, remove the lithium battery and dispose of battery and instrument in 

accordance with local regulations.

 WARNING

Battery may explode if mistreated. Do not short-circuit, recharge, disassemble or 

dispose of in fire. 

Handle and dispose of batteries in accordance with local regulations.

Lithium battery removal

Required items: 6 mm hexagonal wrench, needle-nose pliers, and Phillips screwdriver (No. 2)

screws (4 locations).
