This function automatically compensates for offset voltage resulting from thermal emf or
internal instrument bias. (OVC: Offset Voltage Compensation)

The following value is known to be a true resistance value from R

, the value measured
with current flowing in the positive direction, and R

, the value measured with current flow-
ing in the negative direction.

When low-power resistance measurement is disabled.
From the 10 m

range to the 1,000
Ω
range, the offset voltage correction function can be
turned on. From the 10 k
Ω
range to the 1,000 m
Ω
range, the OVC function cannot be
used.
•
When low-power resistance measurement is enabled.
The offset voltage correction function will be automatically turned on for all ranges. This
function cannot be disabled.
