Replaceable Parts and Operating Lifetimes
Useful life depends on the operating environment and frequency of use. Operation cannot be
guaranteed beyond the following periods. For replacement parts, contact your dealer or Hioki
representative.
If no measured value is displayed even when the probes are shorted together, internal dam-
age may have occurred. Contact your dealer or Hioki representative.

Inspection and Repair
Do not attempt to modify, disassemble or repair the instrument; as fire, electric shock
and injury could result.
• If damage is suspected, check the "Before Returning for Repair" p.180) section before con-
tacting your dealer or Hioki representative.
Transporting
• Use the original packing materials when transporting the instrument, if possible.
• Pack the instrument so that it will not sustain damage during shipping, and include a
description of existing damage. We do not take any responsibility for damage incurred
during shipping.

The instrument contains a built-in backup lithium battery. If the date and
time deviate substantially when the instrument is switched on, it is the time
